She

Outline: First published on Spiderbaby's 'Free Poetry' site for a Robb Hinge 5-word challenge.
She

Snowdrops mid-January
Blazing colour across blank canvas
Warm a frozen thought.

Does she?

Maybe.

Friendship only not an option
In dark mid-December
Chilling what we sought.

Can she?

Can't she...

Spring forth her feelings
Come mid-March thaw
Knowing she is caught?

Would she?

Could she...

Turn on the tears of happiness
In hosepipe floods mid-Summer
Forgetting why she fought?

Will she?

Won't she?

Do you know I thought I recognised those words! An excellent poem, well thought out and thought provoking too!
