Kung Fucious

If it wasn't for this,
I could have crept through life
Without a trace,
Like a Shaolin monk
Passing down a passage
Carpetted
With
Rice Paper.

Author Explanation: In the 70s I watched a series caled Kung Fu. The above process was a rite of passage.

Interesting. Ths 'less is more' approach is effective.

Interesting poem.
Never watched Kung Fu, so am not familiar with the sentiments.

I watched Kung Fu and Monkey and I read Shogun. This so reminds me of a true Japanese haiku (ok I know it's not). Sparse and powerful. Nice. Zen

Thankyou, both. Now, Haiku, I never thought of that... Wink

5,7,5...
If not for this pome,
I could have passed through my life
Yet leaving no trace...

Passing down a passage,
Carpetted with paper...
It's sh*t!
