Santa, please bring me a stocking
I really don't ask you for much!
Would it be really so shocking?
Just one little stocking or such!

I don't ask for anything pricey,
And most things I get I will share.
just slip me in something quite spicey ~
I don't even ask for a pair!

I actually don't care what you give me,
Deodorant, toothpaste and tea!
But, Santa Claus, if you'll forgive me,
I want something purely for ME!

I don't expect something too girlish
Like perfume, fine jewellery and rings ~
Lace panties, silk scarves, I'm nor churlish
I don't even ask many things!

I just want to know you accept me
and love the wee girl that I hide.
I need to know you don't reject me,
Despising the monster inside.

So Santa, just pop in a stocking,
Or lipbalm, a toe ring, a sign
That my being me's not too shocking,
Withstanding, you still will be mine.

Amusing. Surely not a 'monster'??.
Hope you get your stocking. 'Something spicey'?? Surely Santa doesn't shop at those naughty little shops.
Easy to read, good rhythm and ryhmed well. Good poem. Enjoyed it.
Made me smile.

Variarions on a theme but still the same theme... Cathartic poetry?

Ian, you'd be surprised, some of the shops that Santa goes in... Embarassed

And Clarissa, sorry. Sorry

No need to apologise - I was just trying to say I thought I knew where you were coming from with this... Peace
