Outline: A fishing trip
Without feedback there is only Ego

The worst of all the Vices

So listen to others and edit those commas

And where ye go so to does me go, Amigo.

Boom-boom.

I agree with the sentiment, though is ego a vice, will check my theology stash, (won't take long), as a poem it could be stronger as advice I'm sure its full of merit. G Luck Very Happy

Ego can lead to every Vice and end up as decadence and hauty behavior, Bedford,

An egotistical person can become a right pain in the ass Wink

So true, Ron. If people don't tell us we're either brilliant, average or crap, how will we ever know?

Hey there, good buddy,

I owe you, also, a Guinness for dropping by again.

We must drink it together soon.

But you missed the point, mate...

Be my Editor and make yourself a better writer in the process Wink

Hi Ron
Ego? What ego? Do women have one? It seems to go with male side in our family! Wink

My ego won't let me be any better than I already am (am already?), Ron. It lives in a world of its own.

Come wth me to Mars and you won't need an ego, but don't forget the Mars bars Cheers

Blimey! I'm gonna tek my pint of Stella into the bedroom and watch my TV in there if no one can figure out what is wrong with the grammatically-wrong original poem.

Roy you ditz, you bit the hook I were goin after. Now I can't carp! Well, I too go down the pike, sometimes crappie, sometimes just an old trout. And Ron, thank you for clarifying that it is not having an ego which is a vice in itself, (although it does pinch like one). We don't want all your students goin' about trying to gouge their egos out. And, can we now call you "boom boom"? A name once reserved only for hockey players..

Boy, when I lose you, I really lose you! Wink
I don't know why you didn't get alerted, but hmmm, have you checked your night sky for black holes lately?
To recap, Roy beat me to the punch on "too", but it was my ego that made me point that out just now. And, looking back, waaaay back, I agree with Fedbord that this is an alright poem, with great advice.
As for "And Ron, thank you for clarifying that it is not having an ego which is a vice in itself, (although it does pinch like one).", buh, just a rephrasing of your "It's how we cope with Ego, not if we have one".
Whatta time warp. I see you made it back from the bedroom whence you had fled with Stella.
Andmymare, heigh ho, you're funny in retrospect as well (and wise)
