Song Lyrics [Political] Moderators for this section: pinktwirl, Inker

Gordon (Golden) Brown

Outline: One for 'Culloden's Revenge' who screwed up my pension...
Why: Fun
Review: any
GORDON BROWN.

Gordon Brown
Great pompous ass
Leading his party without any class
Says Europe's alright
so no need to fight
Keeps the English put down
but that's Gordon Brown.

Every law
Just like the last
and ten years of taxation tied to his mast
He makes more demands
when he builds on our lands
Drive the country aground ?
Yeah, that's Gordon Brown.

Gordon Brown
Christ, what a mess !
It took just ten years for this land to go west
More verbal manure
his pension's secure
Keep the English put down
That's Gordon Brown.

Author Explanation: After the sleaze and hypocrisy of B'liar (Screw the anti-terrorism act, I'm still wearing the t-shirt) we have the incompetence and condescension of the Brown years... I wish I could personally kick him back over the border... REVOLUTION NOW.

lol Chris,

I quite liked this. And yer author explanation made me laugh. Revolution now huh? Sure. I was quite hoping that auld Gordon was gonna call that election a few months back, methinks the Tories might have hada fair chance. Not that english politics reaaally influences me at the moment (except for my AS level politics course). I'm an impartial observer who wouldn't mind seeing a shake up just for the sake of it. Having said that though, I do agree with the points ye've made in the song. I think Gordo's reign so far was typified by his first day in the commons - "I think that you should all remember, I've only been in this job for a couple of days..", and the look auld Cameron gave him, lol. Apparently when Brown was at college though, his friends usedta play that "Gordon is a moron" song a lot. And ye can see why.

Thanks,

Tim

Thanx Tim, Thanx 'Doze (Danny... Sorry mate, I'll get round to working on reading the names as opposed to the tags soon...) Yeah... Makes me annoyed that my last pension which I paid 24 years into just went down the pan and I had to start again...
Doesn't help that he also cut the tax relief on the lowest paid in the last budget but I
suppose I could always get another job above the threshold but I like what I do 'cos I can actually make a difference if and only if the system works. It's about 60/40 percentage wise but it's better odds than some others have.
Apart from that I think he's a condescending S*** !
This is probably the newest thing I've posted up but audiences are laughing at it, so...

Hey Tim, are congratulations in order ? Something about the 'Windy City' ?

Well done mate, You worked hard enough to get it. Give my love to 'Buddy Guy's Legends' (It's a blues club) while you're there... and ENJOY the experience 'cos you never know where these things can lead you ?

Cheers everyone who liked it. I just wish The Stranglers had written another couple of verses and I could really have gone to town. I'll post the 'B'liar' one when I get back from hol's seeing as there is now no rush as the lying parasite has gone.

Hi Chris

I really liked the invective in this it made me laugh.
Plus I agree that with the others that 'Gord' is a condescending t**t.

I think tho' he probably shot himself in the foot by not calling a GE last Nov.

I think he would have stood more chance of winning then than he he will in 2009 (the way things are going).

Cheers

Phil

Just as a footnote to all the above. It was let slip on Radio 4 news this morning that good ol' Gordo' has decided that all those people caught by the police carrying knives on the street should be prosecuted and not cautioned...
'Scuse me for asking with a little bit of cynical incredulity but is it me that is out of step for suggesting that if you'd done that sooner you useless tw*t, then there wouldn't have been so many stab victims over the Christmas period ?
All together now... (and please, with a little harmony and a lot of punk attitude...) Gordon is a moron... Gordon is a moron...
