Camel TrainOutline: What they actually look like. Review: Any comments welcome. Camel Train
Is that a mirage or am I seeing things? I laughed, remembering the old joke. Then caught in the moment, a moment of beauty, I saw a camel train shimmering ten feet above the sand five miles away. Hey, I thought, that must be easy on their feet. No heat you see. But, there again, that's just me. Author Explanation: The first line is an old stand-up one-liner - can't remember Comedian's name - maybe Bob Monkhouse, maybe Jim Davison, maybe neither. It was a flash prompted by the word 'Mirage', and four years in Saudi came flooding back again. |
