Two Haikus

Outline: I just love doing these!
I brought you a flame
You offered me a candle
But there was no wick.

Do I look like that?
Five million pixels can’t lie
But they can mislead.

I share your love of haiku too, Nonny. A good discipline, paring down the words to fit the medium.

Haiku amaze me sometimes, I love the good ones and the first of these is definitely one of those.

And from the man:

You brought me a flame,
I offered you a pencil,
But there was no lead.Crying or Very sad

I love them too!

Now you must go over to the Haiku thread and write one.

The first one reminded me of the tale of the man and his wife who had no money to buy each other a Christmas present. He bought her a tortoiseshell hair clasp so she could tie back her locks and she bought him a silver chain so he could attach his fob watch to his waistcoat.

But she had her hair cut and sold it and he pawned his watch. How sad...

Really good, anony.

Glad I mooched through your box.
