I don't know what else to say about this, but I found it clever and appealing. Well written.

Intriguing comparing the sun's rays (as seen from behind clouds, like a William Blake painting?) with the image of searchlights and so different in their effects. Peace and war and an evening drink all in one. Remarkable.

Why... thank ye kindly, carrieann and Alison,

What can I say? ...except Wink ...that's how He does it, you know... He scans the world looking for liars... He's got a good clear-up rate, as well... so I've been told Wink

Cheers

Love

Perfect little flyer here. Paints quite a capsule of a war-time too. Loved the G&T, adds a style of classic to it somehow. Yearned for a little more 'kiss & tell' though, as I know you have story upon story from this vein. good to see ye here too, Ron.

Cheers, Jen,

If I kiss yer an tell yer I love ya, will that do?

Nice here, eh?

Glad you liked it. Sunday evening the sunset was magical over East Anglia. Hope it painted the Emerald Isle in equal beauty.

Ciao,

Ron

Clever, concise, touching and true.

Does exactly what it says on the tin.

Thanks, Ron.

I like sparse and open so I like this one.

Interesting names on the thread particularly Aliqot.

Aye, Brian, 'less is more' as the old maxim goes. You're a bit of a master at it in your own right. And the names above are really hot poets as well as having interesting handles. Wink

Cheers
